Overview

How Google Workspace fits your booking flow

If Google Calendar is where you keep your appointments, Calendza can check that schedule before offering a time to a guest. Your working hours still define the booking window. With the required permissions, a confirmed Google Meet booking can also create a calendar event and video link.

What this connection does

01

Protect time already booked elsewhere

Busy periods in your connected Google Calendar are checked alongside meetings booked through Calendza.

02

Keep your weekly hours in charge

A free space on your calendar does not mean you want a meeting. Slots must also fit the availability you set in Calendza.

03

Create a Google Meet room

Choose Google Meet as the event location. A properly connected account allows Calendza to request a video link when the booking is confirmed.

04

Keep booking details together

The appointment record stores the meeting details. Calendar event creation depends on the permissions granted to the connection.

Get connected

Set it up, then test one booking.

Take a few minutes to verify the connection before you send the link to clients.

  1. 1

    Connect Google from Calendars

Sign in to your workspace, open Calendars, and choose Connect Google. Google sign-in alone does not connect your calendar.

  2. 2

    Review and approve permissions

Authorize the Google account used for your meetings. Return to Calendza and check that its connection status is active.

  3. 3

    Create and test an event

Set the event duration, working hours, and Google Meet location. Make a test booking and check the calendar event and join link before sharing widely.

Useful details

Questions about Google Workspace.

Does Google sign-in already connect my calendar?

No. Sign-in verifies your identity. Connect Google from Calendars to grant the permissions needed for conflict checks and meeting creation.

Why is a busy time still showing?

Check that the intended Google account is connected and active. If permission has expired, reconnect it. Review your schedule and test the public booking page again.

Can I disconnect Google later?

Yes. Disconnect it from Calendars. After disconnection, external Google busy times cannot be checked and automatic Google meeting creation will not be available through that connection.
